Terms of Service

1. Your account

You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, and you must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

2. Your content

You own the books, outlines, and text you create in Manuscript Studio ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the service — for example, syncing it to your account and sending it to AI providers when you request an AI draft.

You are responsible for Your Content and must have the rights to it. Do not use Manuscript Studio to create or store unlawful, infringing, or abusive material.

3. AI features

AI outlines and drafts are generated by third-party AI models accessed on your behalf (currently via OpenRouter). AI output can be inaccurate, derivative, or unsuitable, and is provided for you to review and edit — you decide what goes into your final manuscript, which remains yours.

You are responsible for ensuring your finished book complies with Amazon KDP’s content policies and applicable law.

4. Plans and credits

Manuscript Studio is a paid subscription service; an active plan is required to generate AI content and to download your book. There is no free tier — new accounts choose a plan to begin (Starter, Creator, or Premium, from $5/month). AI usage is metered in credits, with a monthly allotment per plan; higher plans add more books, stronger models, higher limits, and (Creator and above) audiobook generation.

Monthly subscription credits refresh each billing cycle and do not roll over.

5. Payments

Paid plans are sold and processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as the Merchant of Record (our authorised reseller). Paddle handles payment, invoicing, and applicable taxes. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms shown at checkout.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.

6. Disclaimers and liability

Manuscript Studio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

7. Changes and contact
