The Cover Studio is deliberately single-selection: its layers sit across three panels with different anchors, so dragging a group across the spine would re-home half of them.
The editor
The writing editor uses standard text shortcuts — Ctrl + B, I, U, Z,
Y and so on. Everything else is on the formatting ribbon, or behind the ⋯
menu on a narrow screen.
